In Home Psychotherapy
Our Dear Client, there are many of us who are in need of psychotherapy, but some of us are unable or more comfortable to experience therapy in the privacy of our home versus going to see a therapist in their office. This has brought us to offer you In Home Psychotherapy. A skilled and compassionate therapist will work with you on a mutually convenient schedule making it more flexible and comfortable for you. Our Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) specialize in treating depression, anxiety, panic states, Dementia/Alzheimer’s, chronic pain, work stress, grief counseling, marital discord, and other issues. Our therapists utilize such techniques as cognitive behavioral therapy, eclectic therapy, psychodynamic therapy and interpersonal therapy to create a unique and tailored approach for achieving the best outcome for you.
We also firmly believe in the benefits of creative arts therapy. A Licensed Creative Arts Therapist can provide art therapy or dance movement therapy. Creative Arts Therapists can provide individual, couple, or group sessions.
In art therapy, verbal psychotherapy is combined with clients utilizing image-making to externalize their internal experiences. Art helps bring your thoughts and feelings to life, which gives you and your therapist a deeper understanding of the issues being faced. Art therapy can be beneficial for a wide variety of individuals, including patients dealing with mental health issues, such as anxiety or depression, as well as those battling serious medical issues, like cancer or chronic illness. It can also help those recovering from trauma or addiction, working through grief, or coping with a disability.
Dance/Movement Therapy uses movement as a psychotherapeutic tool to integrate emotional experiences on a mind-body level. In sessions, you and your therapist will explore a combination of verbal and nonverbal processes to find a collaborative balance that works for you and facilitates a deeper connection to your authentic impulses, desires, sensations, and emotions. Research has proven this therapy to be effective in treating anxiety, depression, chronic pain, post traumatic stress, grief, and even memory recall for those suffering with Dementia.
