It doesn’t matter who you are and where you have been- I am here to help you.
My journey to practicing psychotherapy started over 20 years ago with 2 immigrations, a lot of soul searching, writing poetry, traveling, overcoming a myriad of obstacles to become the person I am today.
I have over 12 years of direct experience practicing psychotherapy to individuals ages 3-100 (yes, my oldest client was 100 years old, imagine this person’s experience and wisdom!). I have provided short and long term therapy, both individual and group, as well as in-school counseling to children 4 to 12 years of age and adolescents up to 18 years of age delivering fantastic results with my younger clients. I have worked with a multitude of diagnoses, mental issues and everyday struggles both at inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics, hospitals as well as medical rehabs and nursing homes. I continue to work at medical rehabs and nursing homes and the latter has been the most significant and shocking as well as meaningful experience of all. The sum of my experience has shaped me and provided me with an insight into human suffering. It has taught me great patience, compassion, empathy and understanding of our unique situations.
WE ARE UNIQUE! We all come from somewhere, which is why I value the multicultural approach to therapy. I crossed seas and oceans to come to the USA where I am able to provide therapy in 3 languages (English, Russian and Ukrainian). I also understand Hebrew. I realize how our culture, religion and traditions shape our unique personalities. I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Clinical Counseling and 2 mental health licenses. Confidentiality and securing your rights and privacy are of outmost importance to me.
I’ll be happy to hear back from you so that together we can pave the way to beautiful new opportunities, which will change the way you think, feel about yourself and create a more balanced, confident and serene way of life.
